Ready to start your Zion adventure? Looking for a Zion narrows tour or a drive to the popular trailheads? Call us at 435-635-9104 to check availability and book your trip today. Make your trip to Zion National Park convenient and hassle free with our shuttles. Continue reading for instructions on boarding one of our backcountry shuttles.
Before Boarding, you need to check in at the Flagpole at the Zion National Park Visitors Center. The flagpole is located just south of the visitors center building and the restrooms. Here, you will tell the shuttle driver your name, trailhead you are going to, and your departure time so that you can get onto the right shuttle. PLEASE BE 10 MINUTES EARLY FOR CHECK-IN. We operate in MST, so if you are coming from Las Vegas you will need an additional hour due to the time zone change.
Backcountry Overnight Parking: If you are doing an overnight hike, your permit will allow you to park at the visitor's center. If there is no parking there you will need to park at one of the other lots in Springdale. All parking in the town is paid for up to 3 days with the multiday rate. The visitors center parking is free, so try to arrive early and park there. It fills up quickly, at about 6:30 A.M. or earlier.
Here is a map of the paid parking locations: Springdale Parking Map. The locations for parking are as follows:
- All along Mt Carmel Highway at Town administered lots.
- Zion Parking at 38 Lion Blvd, Springdale, UT 84767.

Park Entrance Fee: Park entrance is a separate fee. This fee must be paid whether your party walks in, bikes in, drives in, or shuttles in. The America the Beautiful pass is an annual pass and costs $80 per year. This is good for the pass holder and 3 guests. The holder must show a valid ID. It can be used at any national park in the United States. Zion has a 7-day pass that is good for your vehicle/party and costs $35. This has to be purchased in advance prior to boarding the shuttle. It can be purchased at the vehicle gate or the pedestrian entrance. There is an individual pass for $20 per person also that is valid for 7 days. If you purchase this prior to boarding our shuttle, bring it with you when boarding. DO NOT LEAVE IT IN YOUR CAR. If you do not purchase a park entrance prior to boarding our shuttle, you will have to buy that on the way in with our drivers and it can only be the individual pass for $20. They will need a credit/debit card. Cash is not accepted at the entrance.
